CNN IBN discussed the move by the Indian Government disallowing commercial surrogacy for couples from abroad, following the Australian Couple deserting one of the twins born to them. Interestingly, commercial surrogacy may be allowed for single parents from India. Also proposed is the insurance for the surrogate mothers.
